Description of Staudis Skihütte Top 6

Situated in beautiful Hochkrimml, this attractive holiday apartment on the first floor can comfortably accommodate up to 6 people. This premier property boasts a spacious living room with a 2-person sofabed, as well as a bedroom with two single beds, and a second bedroom with a bunk bed. There's also a cosy dining area, where everyone can gather around for mealtimes. In the fully equipped kitchen, you can whip up a storm when you feel like dining in. If you don't feel like cooking, you can choose from a great variety of local restaurants and eateries. If you'll be driving during your trip, you can enjoy the use and convenience of the sheltered vehicle parking facility that's available.

In winter, you can experience a real ski-in, ski-out vacation since you'll be right at the slopes of Zillertal Arena. The ski lift is in close proximity, which can take you the very top of this popular ski region. Perfect for beginners and experienced alike, there's plenty to keep skiers in all levels of proficiency challenged. In addition, there's a network of cross-country ski trails available that can keep skiers with higher proficiency entertained. For evening entertainment, there's also a toboggan run that's illuminated until 21:30.

In summer, there is plenty to discover in the vicinity of Hochkrimml. A visit to Krimmler waterfall, Europe's highest stepped waterfall, should certainly not be missed. This natural wonder can be easily reached, which makes it an ideal destination for families that are keen to experience an enjoyable day out. Break up the day by having lunch at one of the many delicious restaurants and eateries to choose from. You can also spend a day at Durlaβboden reservoir, where you can swim, row, pedal boat, sail, and even surf! To ensure your holiday is complete, end the day with a barbecue by the lake.

A high alpine oasis of spectacular scenery

Hochkrimml sits at an altitude of 1,700 metres above sea level, making it the highest village in the Zillertal Arena. Lying almost directly on the Gerlos Pass on the border between Salzburg and Tyrol in the Zillertal Alps, with the winter sports area consisting of three areas: Filzsteinalm, Duxeralm and Silberleiten and belongs to the municipality of Krimml. You can reach this village by car or bus with ease, with plenty of conventional skiing and cross-country skiing potential thanks to the close proximity of the Gerlosplatte. From Hochkrimml, you can reach the Zillertal Arena directly via a red downhill run to Königsleiten. Enjoy endless hours of high alpine skiing in this pristine part of Austria. With four dozen apartments and chalets across three villages to choose from, you’ve plenty of choices when it comes to picking somewhere to stay!
