Mauterndorf has an outdoor pool with slide, while there’s also rapids to enjoy. Children will definitely thank you for a visit! Want an indoor option in case of rain? In Tamsweg, you’ve an ideal indoor alternative. Only 5 kilometres from town is the village of St. Michael, boasting its own golf centre. Lungau Golf Club has an 18-hole course, plus a 9-hole one. At an altitude of more than a thousand kilometres, you can enjoy a game of golf like no other, with stunning scenic views. It’s possibly one of the most beautiful courses anywhere in Austria. Beginners and more experienced players alike will love it here.
 

Motorbiking

Lungau is a popular starting point for those looking to discover the Austrian Alps atop a motorbike. The trip to Großglockner by motorcycle is an absolute must! The route boasts more than 30 hairpin bends, taking you to an overall height of more than 3,790 metres. You’ll struggle to match the viewpoint from this height during your trip to this charming part of Austria.
