About Rauriser Hochalmbahnen

The Rauriser Hochalmbahnen are known as one of the most scenic ski areas in the region. Located on the edge of the Hohe Tauern National Park, you are continuously treated to impressive views both on the way up and on the pistes.

The modern Gipfelbahn comfortably takes you up to 2,175 metres, where a spacious and well-organised ski area begins. This upper section is largely tree-free, offering plenty of light, space, and a wonderful panoramic feel.

The area is also highly appealing for those who want to combine a relaxed ski holiday with nature, cosy surroundings, and an authentic valley atmosphere. Rauris itself is a charming village with a traditional Austrian character.
