The Tauernquelle Suite at the luxurious Alpinegold Residenz Rauris is a spacious accommodation for up to 8 guests. With approximately 100 m² of living space, plenty of privacy and a private sauna, this suite is ideal for larger families and groups of friends looking to combine comfort with relaxation.
The suite features three inviting bedrooms and two modern bathrooms. The private sauna is the perfect place to unwind and recharge after an active day in the mountains. The bright, open-plan living area is designed for spending quality time together. The open kitchen offers everything you need to prepare meals together, while the traditional Austrian-style seating area creates a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Large sliding doors lead directly onto the spacious terrace, where you can enjoy breathtaking mountain views, fresh alpine air and relaxing moments outdoors.
A relaxing start to the day is included, too. Breakfast is provided: bread spreads, milk and juice are waiting in the fridge when you arrive, and fresh bread rolls are delivered to your door every morning.
In winter, Rauris is known for its relaxed winter sports atmosphere and beautiful mountain scenery. The compact ski area offers enjoyable slopes for beginners and more experienced skiers alike. Winter walkers, snowshoe hikers and cross-country skiers will also find plenty of opportunities to explore the area.
Rauris is also a great destination for ski touring enthusiasts. The ski touring centre near the Kreuzbodenbahn offers marked uphill routes, while the high-alpine area around Kolm Saigurn features challenging tours leading towards impressive mountain peaks.
The nearby valley run (red slope 10) is within easy walking distance and connects towards the Kreuzbodenbahn. The ski bus also stops almost right outside the door, making it easy to reach the ski lift or gondola. After a wonderful day in the snow, return to the Tauernquelle Suite and unwind in the privacy of your own sauna.
In summer, the Rauris Valley reveals its lush green landscapes and diverse outdoor experiences. Located in Hohe Tauern National Park, the area offers countless opportunities for hiking and cycling amid spectacular mountain scenery. The gondola provides easy access to higher elevations of around 1,800 metres, where panoramic trails and family-friendly activities await.
The ancient Rauris forest and the region’s rich gold-mining heritage add even more character to your stay. Try your hand at gold panning or discover the valley’s history at the local museum. On warm days, the Sonnblick outdoor swimming pool offers a refreshing escape for visitors of all ages. Admission to the pool is included with the Nationalpark SommerCard.
