      This ticket offers you, as a guest, plenty of advantages – most importantly, unlimited access to all forms of public transport.

      What is the Guest Mobility Ticket?

      The Guest Mobility Ticket is a special travel pass for everyone staying overnight in SalzburgerLand, valid from 1 May 2025.
      With your booking, you automatically contribute a small mobility fee. In return, you’ll receive a ticket before your arrival that allows you to use all public transport services across the entire province of Salzburg free of charge, including:

      ✔ City transport
      ✔ Regional bus services
      ✔ S-Bahn trains
      ✔ Regional and long-distance trains
      ✔ Salzburg Transport shuttle services

      The ticket is valid for the full duration of your stay – no need to activate it each day. It will be sent automatically by email to the main booker prior to arrival.

      Salzburg Verkehr App

      The Salzburg Verkehr app is a handy tool to help you get around SalzburgerLand with ease.
      It gives you a clear overview of all available transport options – from buses and trains to shuttle services.

      With the app you can:

      ✔ Find the best connections based on your location
      ✔ View real-time departure and arrival times
      ✔ Plan your route – whether on foot, by bike, car, or public transport
      ✔ Make easy transfers thanks to up-to-date travel information

      The Guest Mobility Ticket doesn’t just offer unlimited access to public transport – it comes with even more advantages.
      You can travel quickly and easily, without worrying about things like finding or paying for parking. This saves you money not only on transport but also on parking fees.
      What’s more, you get to explore the region in a relaxed and eco-friendly way by choosing sustainable options like buses and trains. It’s a smart and hassle-free way to get the most out of your holiday!

      Good to know

      ✔ As mentioned earlier, the Guest Mobility Ticket is valid throughout the entire province of Salzburg – including city transport, regional buses, and trains (Westbahn and ÖBB included!).
      ❗ Please note: The ticket is not valid for cable cars.

      ✔ Planning to travel to another province? You may need an additional ticket, so make sure to check in advance.

      ✔ You can also use the ticket from Salzburg Airport, as long as you’ve checked in beforehand. Groups can reserve seats, but depending on your travel provider, an additional fee may apply.

      ✔ Taking a bike on the train? You’ll need a separate bike ticket. On buses, bikes are only allowed if there is enough space.

      ✔ The ticket is funded through a small surcharge of €0.50 per person per night, which is paid directly to your accommodation.
