A descent of 14 km from the Wildkogel Ski Arena leads to the centre of Bramberg! Neukirchen and Bramberg are located between 3 ski regions, the vast Zillertal Arena, the Wildkogel Ski Arena and the Kitzbühler Alpen. The resorts can be easily reached by car or with the free ski bus. Cross-country skiers can enjoy the approx. 200 km Pinzgauer route. You only need 1 skipass for the Zillertal Arena and the Ski-Arena Wildkogel.

Bramberg am Wildkogel
Bramberg am Wildkogel is a cosy and pleasant village at an altitude of approx. 820 metres in the Wildkogel Arena. Bramberg is the ideal destination for families. The Samaragdbahn will bring you to the skiing region of the Wildkogel Arena in just minutes. Bramberg also accommodates the longest illuminated toboggan run in the world. The après-ski possibilities have been expanded during the past years to include a number of cosy bars and restaurants.

Ski regions
Bramberg is located between 3 ski regions, namely the vast skiing area of the Zillertal Arena, the Wildkogel Ski Arena and the Kitzbühler Alps. The Wildkogel Arena can be reached directly via the Samaragdbahn cable car service. The Zillertal Arena and the Kitzbühler Alps can be reached with ease by car or using the free ski bus service.

The Wildkogel Arena
The Wildkogel Arena is a divers family skiing area with 16 modern ski-lifts and a total of 61 km of slopes with lovely descents, the majority of which are snow-covered.  The Wildkogel Arena accommodates over 28 km of blue runs, 25 km of red runs and 8 km of black runs. The wide slopes make the resort perfect for children and beginning skiers. The many facilities for children at the Wildkogel Arena include wonderful skiing areas. The snowboarders can enjoy a Fun Park and Half Pipe. The unique basin location, with largely north-facing slopes, guarantees snow and high snow quality in the Wildkogel Arena.

The ski area Kitzbühler Alps
The ski area Kitzbuhler Alps comprises the Alpenbach, Kitzbühel, Saalbach Hinterglemm-Leogang, Schneewinkel, SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser - Brixental, Hochtal Wildschönau and Zell am See - Kaprun. It is an extremely modernised skiing region with over 1000 km of pistes. One of the best known pistes in this region is the 'Hahnenkamm', an extremely steep run for the advanced skier. You can travel from Bramberg to the Panorama Bahn Kitzbüheler Alps in Mittersill/ Hollersbach by car in 5-10 minutes.

The Zillertal Arena
The Zillertal Arena is virtually always guaranteed of snow and lots of lovely sunbathing hours thanks to its location in the south (on the Gerlospass). In the spring, even up to the end of April, you can still ski to your heart’s content! The area has more than 51 modern ski lifts, 143 km of slopes of which 11 km black, 89 km red and 43 km blue. The 320 ha of snow slopes guarantee snow all season long. In addition to skiing, 200 km of ski runs offers extensive possibilities for cross-country (‘langlauf’) skiing. The Zillertal Arena ski area (1,470 – 2,302 m) can be reached via the Gerlos Pass. To reach this area, drive towards Krimml/Hochkrimml for around 20 to 25 minutes.

Wildkogel Arena Ski pass
The Wildkogel Arena is accessible with the Wildkogel Arena Ski pass. This ski pass ensures you can use all lifts in the Wildkogel Arena. You can also use this pass for the ski shuttle that runs from various bus stations in Neukirchen and Bramberg to the Ski Arena Wildkogel valley station. There is also a free bus service to Königsleiten.

The Zillertal Arena Ski pass
The Zillertal Arena Ski pass and the Zillertaler Super ski pass are valid in both the Zillertal Arena as well as in the Arena Wildkogel in Neukirchen am Großvenediger. A valid ski pass allows you to use the ski bus service between Neukirchen, Wald, Krimml and Königsleiten, free of charge.

Tobogganing Bramberg
A favourite of kids and adults alike is the 14 km-long illuminated toboggan run from Wildkogel to Bramberg. There are various ski huts along the run where you can have a rest. The Samaragdbahn will bring you to an altitude of approx. 2150 metres. From here, it is big fun as you take the 45-minute descent of 1300 km in a small sleigh.  A unique experience!  The toboggan run is illuminated until 22.00h. You can opt for an evening descent three times per week (every Tuesday and Friday from Bramberg and every Saturday from Neukirchen).  More information on tobogganing in the Wildkogel Arena.

Cross-country skiing
Bramberg and Neukirchen have over 45 km of perfectly prepared runs with an impressive view of the Großvenediger. The tracks also connect to the 200 km-long Pinzgauer track that runs from Krimml to Zell am See.

Pinzgauer Lokalbahn
The Pinzgauer Lokalbahn (local railway track through Pinzgau) in the Salzach valley connects Zell am See and (Vorder)Krimml. For a range of fun winter excursions, why not hop aboard the local train? Ski enthusiasts can take the train all the way to the Hollersbach Panorama Bahn cable car. The lift then takes you to the skiing area of the Kitzbüheler Alps.
