In the summer, water flows in abundance as the ice melts in the sunnier climate, allowing the falls to show off their full potential. Krimmler Panoramic Road

No visit to the Krimmler Waterfalls is complete without a beautiful walk in nature. There’s a panoramic road right nearby purely for this purpose, all within an easy reach of your apartment in Königsleiten. Stretching four kilometres along the waterfalls and more majestic natural sights, it’s an ideal viewpoint for a hike to remember. The Arena Coaster run is just west of the town, promising nail-biting excitement for young and old. The run totals 1,450 metres, with plenty of bends and turns to look forward to. It’s a real rush to descend down this run, while there’s few better ways to take in the sights of your new surroundings than from your spot in the toboggan itself. There’s also a children’s playground here so they can burn off any energy that might be left after braving the Arena Coaster.
