Description
Haus Alpenglöckchen is a charmingly decorated drive-in chalet for 8 guests. It is located in the picturesque village of Wald im Pinzgau, just a short walk from the local supermarket and almost directly opposite the Kristallbad indoor pool and sauna. The chalet is part of the small and peaceful holiday park Schöneben, where you are surrounded by impressive mountain peaks and fresh alpine air. As soon as you arrive, you can park your car beneath the chalet. There, you will also find two convenient storage rooms: one with a washing machine and dryer, and another specifically for your skis or hiking boots. Via the internal staircase next to the carport, you reach the main living area, where the cosy living room awaits you. Sink into the corner sofa, make yourself a cup of tea or open a bottle of wine, and gaze out onto the terrace where you can almost hear the silence of the mountains. The open-plan kitchen in Austrian style invites you to cook together, while the sliding doors give you direct access to the balcony or terrace. This floor also houses a bedroom with a double bed and an en-suite bathroom. Upstairs, you’ll find two more bedrooms. One has a double bed and space for a cot, the other features two bunk beds. There is also a spacious bathroom with a bathtub, shower and washbasin, a separate toilet and a small storage room. Each floor is equipped with a stair gate. As a guest of Haus Alpenglöckchen, you have free access to the Kristallbad.
In winter, this chalet is the perfect base for a varied ski holiday in Austria. After an active day on the slopes, you can prepare a delicious meal in your own kitchen or dine out at one of the nearby restaurants. Afterwards, relax on the sofa as you reflect on the day’s snowy adventures and plan what to do tomorrow. Will you head to the family-friendly Wildkogel Arena or opt for the larger ski areas of the Zillertal Arena or Kitzbüheler Alpen? All areas are easily accessible by car or ski bus. Or perhaps you prefer a winter walk to the breathtaking Krimmler Wasserfälle? Whatever you choose, there's something for everyone to enjoy in and around Haus Alpenglöckchen.
In summer, it’s a place of pure enjoyment. From the terrace, you can take in views of the mountains and the church tower of Wald. The chalet is a great starting point for a varied summer holiday in the mountains, with countless opportunities for hiking and cycling in the beautiful Nationalpark Hohe Tauern. Rent a bike in the village and follow the Tauernradweg, take a free bus ride to one of the nearby villages, or visit the famous Krimmler Wasserfälle, just four kilometres away. Looking for adventure?
