Schöneben Chalet Steinlinge

Description

The Schöneben Chalet Steinlinge is located at the foot of Hohe Tauern National Park in the village of Wald im Pinzgau. This chalet is part of the pleasant Schöneben holiday village, where fun and tranquility are paramount and will provide wonderful holiday accommodation for up to 10 people. There are four main bedrooms, two bathrooms and a spacious living room with an modern open kitchen. There’s a comfortable seating area with plenty of room to relax, gather round the traditional Austrian stove, and enjoy social meals and lively games evenings in the dining area. The open kitchen is fully equipped, so you’ll always have a delicious meal on the table in no time. And out on the balcony and spacious terrace, you’ll get magnificent views across the surrounding mountain landscape.

In winter, the Chalet Steinlinge’s authentic Austrian wood-burning stove will provide extra warmth and a cosy atmosphere during the winter days. There are two ski areas within easy reach of your holiday home: The Wildkogel Arena offers plenty of family fun, while the Zillertal Arena ski complex has many kilometres of slopes and offers a greater challenge. There’s a free ski bus within comfortable walking distance, and a car journey to either venue will take no more than 5-15 minutes. Besides this, there are plenty more winter activities to experience, such as taking a long winter walk, or putting on your longer skis and going for a pleasant cross-country ski trip. Two cars can be parked in your chalet’s covered parking space, and there’s also a storage room for your ski equipment.

In summer, the chalet's location in Wald im Pinzgau makes it easy to get out and explore the whole region. The village has its own Kristall swimming pool, which all guests can use for free during your stay. There are many cycle, walking, mountain-biking and hiking routes criss-crossing the area, and with just a fifteen-minute drive you can be standing beside the Krimmler waterfalls. Near the falls, the WasserWunderWelt is the theme park where the children can have fun and learn absolutely everything about water. But you can also escape from the daily routine back at the chalet: Just spending the day reading a book on the balcony or south-facing terrace, while taking an occasional look at the spectacular mountain landscape all around you.
