Schöneben Chalet Sonnenwende is a detached holiday let situated in Wald im Pinzgau. The spacious dining area welcomes you in for cosy breakfasts and big dinners. It can also serve as an ideal venue for a night of fun and games. Both resorts are within a 15-minute drive, but they can also be reached via the free ski shuttle bus service. The chalet offers car parking accommodation for two vehicles, and it has handy ski storage facilities on offer in this part of the property. In summer, there’s no shortage of things to do in this part of Austria. Start off with a few laps at the Kristall swimming pool, which is free for all guests during their stay. You can also hang back at the chalet itself and fire up the terrace barbecue for a delicious lunch or dinner. The balcony is south-facing, providing awe-inspiring views across the nature reserve of Hohe Tauern National Park. There are several biking trails to enjoy, along with plentiful hiking routes for those keen to get out and explore.

Plenty of snow and the perfect place to relax

Wald im Pinzgau is located in Oberpinzgau at the foot of the Gerlos Pass on the border between Salzburg and Tyrol, sitting at an altitude of approximately 900 metres. Wald is a pretty little village with a cosy atmosphere that forms a community together with Königsleiten. From December to the end of April you can enjoy sun and snow here. You’ll be glad to know we offer plenty of properties for guests to stay during their holidays here, with around 60 chalet apartments and houses to pick from!
