Located nearby are the resorts of Zillertal Arena and Wildkogel Arena, both of which can be reached by car or free ski shuttle bus. At the end of a day on the slopes, head back to the comfort of this cosy chalet and gather around the fireplace as you trade stories with fellow guests.

In summer is this the ideal place for nature lovers! From Wald im Pinzgau, you can take a challenging hike (about an hour) to the Krimmler waterfalls, or hop in the car and, after a fifteen-minute drive, find yourself gaping at Europe's largest (tiered) waterfall. Take the ski gondola in the nearby village of Neukirchen am Großvenediger, ascend, wander around the mountain peaks, and enjoy the breathtaking view. Another great tip: Rent a bike or mountain bike and explore the surroundings that way!
