Schöneben Haus Edelweiss

Description

Haus Edelweiss is a maisonette located in the village of Wald im Pinzgau in the Salzburg region. The home is part of the Schöneben holiday village. This is a family holiday park where fun and tranquility are paramount. The property can accommodate up to eight people – and also pets on request! There are three bedrooms in total: two bedrooms with a double bed and one bedroom with a double bed and bunk beds. The stairs to the bedroom floor divide the living room into two sections. On the right, there is an open kitchen with dining area, which would be ideal for communal breakfasts, or as a great venue for a games evening for the whole party! On the left, you will find a comfortable seating area with a typical Austrian ‘Kachelofen’ stove and a TV. You enter the Haus Edelweiss porch through a set of sliding doors. After an active day in the Austrian outdoors, you can give your muscles the chance to relax in the maisonette’s Finnish sauna. During your stay, you will also enjoy free access to Wald im Pinzgau’s local Kristall swimming pool, a treat worth trying again and again!

In winter, you can head off to the Zillertal Arena and the Wildkogel Arena ski resorts for a varied winter sports holiday. There is a free ski bus stop within walking distance of Haus Edelweiss, and both ski areas have a range of slopes suitable for novice and experienced winter sports enthusiasts alike. More advanced and experienced winter sports athletes can enjoy wonderful day trips to the Zillertal Arena, which lies at a higher altitude and has an extensive ski area. On the other hand, the Wildkogel Arena is well known for its child-friendly facilities. After a full sporting day in the snow, there is nothing more pleasant than chatting about the day’s adventures beside a warm Kachelofen, or challenging your travelling party to a fun game at the dining table.

In summer, the Haus Edelweiss provides the perfect base for a varied range of holiday activities. Pets are allowed on request, and if you’re interested in walking through Austria’s beautiful natural environment in the Hohe Tauern National Park with your four-legged friend, there are plenty of delightful options to discover in the area surrounding Wald im Pinzgau! For the children, there are several swimming lakes and playgrounds, as well as an outdoor activity centre nearby which organises mountain climbing tours, plus a wealth of Austrian cuisine in the many local restaurants and Gasthofs.
