The Penthouse Goldquelle Suite at Alpengold Rauris is the absolute highlight of the residence: an exclusive penthouse of approximately 100 m², set in a unique elevated position above it all. This generous suite accommodates up to 8 guests and is designed for those who wish to combine luxury, privacy and exceptional views with a warm and authentic atmosphere. Here, you experience a true sense of freedom and comfort in the Rauris Valley. The suite features three comfortable bedrooms and two stylishly designed bathrooms. One of the bathrooms includes a private sauna, a delightful wellness space where you can fully unwind after an active day in the mountains. High-quality finishes, soft colour tones and natural materials create an elegant yet relaxed ambiance throughout the suite. What truly sets the Goldquelle Suite apart is its living area. In the spacious lounge, the wood-burning stove forms the atmospheric heart of the room, perfect for long evenings together. The characteristic Austrian seating area and the large dining table in the open-plan kitchen invite you to enjoy shared moments, whether with a good glass of wine or during an elaborate dinner. Large sliding doors allow plenty of natural light and lead out onto the expansive terrace, where panoramic views over the Rauris Valley and the surrounding mountains impress day after day. Breakfast is included: spreads, milk and juice are provided in the refrigerator upon arrival, and fresh bread rolls are delivered to your door every morning.
In winter, Rauris is all about tranquillity, space and quality. Instead of crowded slopes, you will find well-organised pistes, quiet mountain scenery and a relaxed winter sports atmosphere. From Alpengold Rauris, the valley run (red slope 10) is easily reached on foot, providing direct ski access towards the Kreuzbodenbahn. The ski bus also stops almost right outside the property, taking you comfortably to the lift or gondola. After a winter’s day outdoors, pure indulgence awaits in the Penthouse Suite. Relax in your private sauna, warm up by the crackling wood-burning stove and enjoy the winter panorama over the Rauris Valley from the terrace. This is winter sports at its finest. Calm, stylish and with every comfort at hand.
In summer, the Rauris Valley unfolds as an impressive landscape of green alpine meadows, mountain peaks and crystal-clear air. From the Goldquelle Suite, you step straight into nature for hiking, cycling and exploration within the Hohe Tauern National Park. The gondola effortlessly takes you to higher elevations around 1,800 metres, where panoramic trails and family-friendly activities provide variety and adventure. What makes a stay in the Goldquelle Suite truly unique is the sense of space and freedom it offers. After a day outdoors, you return to your private terrace to enjoy the views, the silence and long summer evenings in complete tranquillity. For extra refreshment, the Sonnblick outdoor swimming pool is available and included with the Nationalpark SommerCard.
