The Gamskogel Suite at Alpengold Rauris is a spacious and inviting suite for up to 6 guests, making it ideal for a stay with family or friends. With a living area of approximately 75 m², the suite offers plenty of space to relax together, while still providing privacy and comfort for everyone. The combination of high-quality finishes, a well-designed layout and a beautiful location makes this suite a wonderful base in the Rauris Valley. The suite is elegantly furnished, featuring warm colours and premium materials. The two comfortable bedrooms ensure a restful night’s sleep, while the two modern bathrooms add extra convenience. One bathroom is fitted with a refreshing rain shower, while the other offers a bathtub. Perfect for unwinding after an active day in the mountains. The heart of the Gamskogel Suite is the spacious living area with an open-plan kitchen. This is the perfect place to enjoy long, cosy evenings together, whether over a good glass of wine or a leisurely dinner. Thanks to the large sliding doors, the room is filled with natural daylight and opens directly onto the generous balcony. From here, you can enjoy stunning views of the surrounding mountain landscape, a peaceful spot at any time of day. Breakfast is included: spreads, milk and juice are provided in the refrigerator upon arrival, and fresh bread rolls are delivered to your door every morning.
In winter, Rauris offers everything you need for a relaxed and varied winter sports holiday. The well-organised ski area is known for its quiet slopes, short waiting times and beautiful natural surroundings. Both beginners and experienced skiers will feel right at home here. The area is also ideal for cross-country skiing, winter hiking and snowshoeing. The first ski lift is easily accessible: after a short walk, you reach the valley run (red slope 10), from where you can ski directly towards the Kreuzbodenbahn. For added convenience, the ski bus stops almost right outside the property and takes you quickly to the lift or gondola. After a day in the snow, it is wonderful to return to the warm and spacious Gamskogel Suite.
In summer, the Rauris Valley unfolds as a green oasis within the Hohe Tauern National Park. From Alpengold Rauris, numerous hiking and cycling routes are within easy reach, suitable for relaxed outings as well as more challenging adventures. The gondola takes you effortlessly up to around 1,800 metres, where panoramic walking trails and family-friendly activities await. The Rauris primeval forest and the region’s rich gold-mining history add extra variety to a summer holiday here. Visit the gold panning sites or the local museum for a fun and educational experience. On warm summer days, the Sonnblick outdoor swimming pool offers refreshment and fun for the whole family. Admission is included with the Nationalpark SommerCard.
