At Residenz Monica, you can rent two comfortable apartments – Top 6 and Top 8 – together, ideal for families or groups of friends looking for space and coziness. Both apartments are located on the first floor and are modern and stylishly furnished. Together, they accommodate up to ten guests and feature four bedrooms, two inviting living rooms, and fully equipped kitchens where you can prepare delicious meals. From the sunny balconies, you’ll enjoy stunning views of the Katschberg alpine pastures. The apartment complex is situated just outside the center of the picturesque village, offering peace and privacy while still being close to all amenities. Two private parking spaces are available, and within walking distance, you’ll find a restaurant serving authentic Austrian cuisine. Whether you come to ski, hike, or simply relax, Residenz Monica is your perfect base in the Austrian Alps.
In winter, both apartments are located directly on the ski slope and just a short walk from the gondola of the family-friendly Katschberg ski area (Katschi). It’s truly ski-in, ski-out! At the gondola, you’ll find all the facilities you’d expect from a modern ski resort: a ski school, a sports shop, and a spacious ski depot in the building. The extensive ski area offers plenty of options for both beginners and experienced winter sports enthusiasts. With kilometers of blue, red, and black slopes, you can enjoy hours of fun in the snow. After an active day, return to the apartment and light the wood-burning stove. Gather around the dining table for a classic board game or relax in the seating area by the crackling fire – the perfect ending to a wonderful day in the mountains.
In summer, this beautiful part of Austria is an ideal place to enjoy a holiday. You can explore the scenery on foot, mountain bike, or horseback! The region has a horse riding area that covers approximately 100 kilometres. Heading out with the children? There are several swimming pools in the area and the historic castle in Mauterndorf is also a must. In addition, golf fans will love playing a 9- or 18-hole round at the nearby golf course. During your stay, you can also make use of the LungauCard. The card can grant you free entry to certain attractions as well as big discounts on other activities.
