Situated on the outskirts of the charming village of Dienten am Hochkönig lies the Mountain Resort chalet complex, of which this inviting property is part of. Situated on the second floor, this attractive apartment will accommodate up to 4 people comfortably. Upon entering you step into the cosy living room, with plenty of seating and a designated dining space. The open kitchen is fully equipped with all the amenities you need to whip up a storm at mealtimes. You also have access to a private balcony via sliding doors in the living room, with breath-taking views of meadows, mountains and forest beyond. This property has two bedrooms with double beds, one of which enjoys access to its own en suite bathroom. The apartment shares joint access to a relaxation area which boasts a Finnish sauna and infrared sauna, while the communal boardroom is ideal for socialising, with space for up to 30 people and its own pool table and table tennis table. The pool table can be booked for play at a small extra cost.
In winter, you'll love the proximity of this apartment to the slopes. This complex is infront of a skischool, opens directly onto the ski slopes and is extremely close to the ski lift, offering you a true ski-in, ski-out experience. The ski area of Hochkönig is known as one of most reliable in Austria for snowfall, ensuring you won't be disappointed upon arrival. The ski bus stops in front of the apartment and brings you to other nearby villages, including Maria Alm where you can enjoy illuminated evening skiing three times a week. Once the skiing is done, return to the chalet and hang up your ski boots to dry in the shared ski shed before retiring for the night.
In summer, there's no better way to start the day than enjoying a cup of coffee or spot of breakfast on the balcony as you soak in the sights of your surroundings. After that, you've all manner of exciting activities to look forward to, with plenty of cycling and hiking opportunities. You can also choose to simply relax in the sauna and let your muscles relax. In the immediate vicinity of the apartment are countless hiking trails mapped out for your convenience, while summer tobogganing along the Alpine Coaster run is an absolute must! And a nice extra, the Hochkönig Card is included! With it, you can undertake various activities for free or at a discount. Think of visiting museums, an Alpine coaster ride, archery, sauna or wellness, a visit to a salt mine.
