At the foot of the mountain, right on the slopes of the Fanningberg ski area and directly next to the lift: apartment Bockblick 1 is the perfect place for a relaxing holiday in the Salzburg Biosphere Park Lungau. From December 2025, this brand new apartment will be available for rent. You will stay in a comfortable apartment with your own balcony, private sauna and hot tub. A holiday in style and comfort.
This apartment is located on the first floor of the former reception building. It can be booked on its own or together with Bockblick 2, making it ideal for a holiday with family or friends. A lift in the building ensures extra convenience.
Inside, you will find a cosy living room with seating area and a double sofa bed, a fully equipped kitchen and two bedrooms. Both have a double bed and an additional single bed. The bathroom has a lovely shower and the toilet is separate. Every room has its own television, so everyone can enjoy their own space. After an active day on the slopes, you can truly unwind in your private sauna or under the stars in the hot tub on the balcony.
On the ground floor, there is a shared ski storage room with ski boot dryers. The building also includes a restaurant with a large sun terrace and a bread delivery service.
Booking Bockblick 1 and 2 together? You will have two apartments side by side, offering four bedrooms, two bathrooms, two saunas, hot tubs and double the living space.
In winter, Bockblick 1 is located right on the slope and next to the lift of the Fanningberg valley station. Ideal for families with children. You can step straight into your skis at the door and glide just as easily back inside at the end of the day. Ski in, ski out – it hardly gets better than this. This small scale ski area is easy to navigate and welcoming, yet surprisingly varied. Enjoy sunny runs, peace and space, and a warm welcome in the restaurant below your apartment.
In summer, Bockblick 1 is a wonderful base. The natural surroundings of the Lungau region invite you to go hiking, cycling and exploring. Think mountain lakes, alpine meadows and cosy huts with panoramic views. Children can have fun at the nearby playgrounds or go for a ride on the summer toboggan run. And after an active day outdoors? It is extra lovely to come home to your balcony, sauna or a drink in the hot tub.

Sun, snow and short ski distances
Mariapfarr lies in the Lungau; a small, beautiful region of the Salzburger region. The ski areas here are appropriately small and attractive, although the 30 kilometres on offer pack in plenty to provide everything a skier could wish for. There are wide, flat slopes for beginners and family groups, while a selection of rapid steep slopes offers the more experienced skier something to look forward to. Mariapfarr itself is the most major town in its municipality, with a historic village centre that has everything a holidaymaker could ever wish for. Fanning is located a little further uphill, located within close proximity to the ski lifts that offer you an easy way to make the 2,400-metre ascent.

The picturesque Mariapfarr in Austria is a beautiful village at an altitude of no less than 1120 metres. Here in the Lungau region, you can get to know the friendliest side of the Tauern Mountains. In summer, the Alpine pastures blossom and you can enjoy the beautiful view of the crystal-clear mountain lakes. This is also the perfect location for a variety of sports.
