The Tauernquelle Suite at Alpengold Rauris is an exceptionally spacious suite for up to 8 guests, where luxury, privacy and relaxation come together. With a living area of approximately 100 m², this suite is ideal for larger families or groups of friends who value comfort as well as having plenty of personal space. The presence of a private sauna adds a special touch and elevates your stay to a truly relaxing experience. The layout is generous and thoughtfully designed, featuring three inviting bedrooms and two stylishly finished bathrooms. One of the bathrooms includes a private sauna, a wonderful place to unwind both body and mind after an active day in the mountains. The second bathroom is modern and practical, ensuring comfort and convenience for all guests. The living area feels bright and open, making it the perfect space to spend time together. The open-plan kitchen offers ample opportunity for shared meals, while the characteristic Austrian seating area adds warmth and a homely atmosphere. Large sliding doors connect the indoor space with the outdoors, leading directly onto the spacious terrace. Here, you can enjoy panoramic mountain views, fresh alpine air and long moments of relaxation from early morning until sunset. Breakfast is included: spreads, milk and juice are provided in the refrigerator upon arrival, and fresh bread rolls are delivered to your door every morning.
In winter, Rauris is known for its relaxed winter sports atmosphere and beautiful natural surroundings. The well-organised ski area offers enjoyable slopes for both beginners and experienced skiers. Winter hikers, snowshoe walkers and cross-country skiers will also feel completely at home here. The nearby valley run (red slope 10) is easily accessible on foot and provides a direct connection towards the Kreuzbodenbahn. In addition, the ski bus stops almost right outside the property and takes you quickly to the lift or gondola. After a day in the snow, relaxing in the private sauna of the Tauernquelle Suite is pure luxury in complete tranquillity.
In summer, the Rauris Valley reveals its green and diverse character. Located within the Hohe Tauern National Park, the area offers countless opportunities for hiking and cycling through an impressive mountain landscape. The gondola easily takes you to higher elevations around 1,800 metres, where panoramic trails and family-friendly activities await. The Rauris primeval forest and the region’s rich gold-mining heritage add extra depth to your stay. Gold panning or a visit to the local museum provide variety and enjoyment for all ages. On warm summer days, the Sonnblick outdoor swimming pool offers refreshment for young and old alike. Admission is included with the Nationalpark SommerCard. After a summer day outdoors, you return to the Tauernquelle Suite, where space, tranquillity and wellness come together.
