How Long Can You Ski in Austria in 2027?
Planning a ski holiday in March or April 2027? There are still plenty of opportunities to enjoy the last snow of the season. The first ski resorts are expected to close on Sunday, 28 March, while the last resorts will remain open until Sunday, 2 May 2027.
You can also enjoy skiing in Austria during Easter. In 2027, Easter Sunday and Easter Monday fall on 28 and 29 March. Many ski resorts will still be open during this period, with some remaining open for several more weeks.
Even in April, you can look forward to fantastic descents, snow-covered mountain peaks and delicious Austrian specialities such as a refreshing wheat beer, Käsespätzle or Kaiserschmarrn. Don't forget your sunglasses and sunscreen, because spring skiing is all about snow, sunshine and having a great time!
