What is the Guest Mobility Ticket?
The Guest Mobility Ticket is a special travel pass for anyone staying overnight in SalzburgerLand and will be available from 1st May 2025. You only need to activate the ticket once; thereafter, you can use this ticket to travel for free and without limits on all public transport throughout the province of Salzburg, including:

✔ Regional bus services
✔ S-Bahn trains
✔ Regional and long-distance trains
✔ Salzburg Transport shuttle services
The ticket is automatically valid for the entire duration of your stay, meaning you don’t need to activate it each day.

What you should know…
As mentioned earlier, the Guest Mobility Ticket is valid throughout the entire province of Salzburg, including city transport, regional buses, and trains (also Westbahn and ÖBB!). Please note: the ticket is not valid for cable cars.
Want to travel to another province? You may need an additional ticket, so be sure to check this before you depart.
You can also use the ticket from Salzburg Airport, as long as you have checked in in advance. Groups can reserve seats, but additional fees may apply depending on the travel provider.
Want to bring a bike on the train? You will need a separate bike ticket. Bikes can only be taken on the bus if there is enough space.
The Guest Mobility Ticket is provided through a mandatory guest contribution as part of your stay. Have you lost your QR code? No worries! You can easily request a new one.
