Damage insurance to accommodation

The Damage to Accommodation insurance is included with most bookings through ChaletsPlus.
After all, just like at home, accidents can happen in your rented holiday home. In the unlikely event of damage to the holiday accommodation, this insurance will cover the costs in many cases.

With the damage to accommodation insurance, you are insured as a guest in the holiday home you have booked in case of accidental damage.
The insurance does not only apply to the main booker, but also to the specified co-travellers you stay with in the holiday home.


 

Premium


The premium for the insurance is included in the rental price.


 

What we expect from you


With any insurance there are rules and conditions that apply, whereby we expect you to do everything possible to prevent damage to the holiday home.


 

Reporting damage


Should damage nevertheless occur during your stay, you should report it immediately, at the latest within 24 hours, to the manager of the holiday home. Read the insurance agreements carefully to see whether the damage is covered by the insurance.
The insurance company will assess the damage, check whether you are insured for it and determine the payment. The compensation is paid directly to the person who suffers the damage.
