This pension is modern and attractively furnished, with various apartments, close to the pleasant centre of Mittersill. You will be personally and warmly welcomed by the owner, who is also the hostess. The complex is quietly located, small-scale and equipped with good facilities such as a shared meeting room and Alpine Sauna Lounge with beautiful views of the fascinating mountain landscape. You can either rent the entire complex or several apartments as a group of friends, family or other company (for 40 – 60 people, including children using sofa beds).This impressive holiday home is on the first floor. You enter the kitchen through the hall, equipped with all modern appliances, with a dining area and sitting area. The comfortable sofa functions as a sofa bed for extra guests (maximum one adult or two children). There are two luxurious bedrooms, each with a lovely double bed. The modern bathroom has a wonderful walk-in shower and a double sink, and there is also a separate toilet. You can breathe in that fresh Alpine air from the balcony; what a fantastic start to the day!

In winter, you will enjoy yourself in lively and cosy Mittersill, located in the heart of the Hohe Tauern National Park. The ski bus starts next to the apartment and takes you ten minutes to the Panoramabahn in Hollersbach, which gives access to the well-known winter sports area Kitzbühel - Kirchberg (Kitzski), with more than 200 kilometres of slopes. Mittersill is also a fantastic destination for cross-country skiers and hikers. A popular trail of approximately 2 hours is Mittersill-Pass Thurn, where you can enjoy beautiful views of the Salzach valley and the imposing mountain massif with vast glacial plains for which the Hohe Tauern is known. Other typical winter activities in and around Mittersill are ice skating, tobogganing, making a trip with a real horse-drawn sleigh and, of course, enjoying local beer and delicious Austrian food in one of the many mountain huts. What more could anyone want?

In the summer, Mittersill is an excellent destination for beautiful hiking and cycling trips through nature, but the village is also worth visiting. The photogenic Pfarrkirche St. Leonhard from the thirteenth century is located near the central square called the 'Stadtplatz', where, in addition to a supermarket, you will also find a bakery with countless local delicacies. On the edge of the village is 'Schloss Mittersill', a castle from the sixteenth century that now serves as a hotel/restaurant. Definitely worth taking a look inside and enjoying the beautiful historic location! In terms of hiking, the approximately three-hour route from the Felbertal to the Hintersee is an absolute must, thanks to the steep rock walls, view of waterfalls and the possibility of dipping your toes in the clear water of the Hintersee afterwards.
