Description of Staudis Skihütte Top 8

Apartment Top 8 is part of the Staudis Skihütte complex in the authentic Austrian village of Hochkrimml. The spacious suite on the first floor can accommodate up to six people. The living room has a cosy sitting area with a 2-person sofabed, dining area, and a wood-fired stove. The kitchen is fully equipped, but if you’re craving traditional Austrian cuisine, there's a restaurant near the complex as well. The apartment features two bedrooms, one is furnished with a double bed, the other with a bunkbed. The bathroom includes a shower, sink, and a toilet. From the balcony, you'll have magnificent views of surrounding mountain landscapes. Under the apartment complex in the garage of Staudis Skihütte, you'll also have access to one parking space for your vehicle.

In winter, after stepping out the door of this ski-in/ski-out apartment, you’ll practically already be on the slopes! A ski school and the 'Plattenkogel' ski lift are also nearby the apartment. Zillertal Arena ski area has several kilometres of slopes with various levels of difficulty, so there's more than enough to challenge both novice and experienced skiers. If you're wanting to do more than just ski, the natural toboggan run in Hochkrimml is a must. It opens daily and stays lit until 9.30 pm, so you can sledge until late in the evening on their floodlit course. After a long day in the snow, you can store your equipment inside the shared ski storage area and then warm up by the wood-fired stove and relive the experiences from your fun-filled day.

In summer, you'll experience a versatile summer vacation in this cosy apartment. Hochkrimml is a perfect base for nature lovers, sports enthusiasts, and even families with young children. The mountain area has many walking and cycling routes to explore, and you can do so with the guidance of a local tour guide if you prefer. A visit to Krimmler waterfalls definitely shouldn't be missed. While you're there, you can visit 'WasserWunderWelt', which is a fun and family-friendly theme park! Various water sports can also be practised on the Durlaβboden reservoir, such as rowing, surfing, and sailing. For something more relaxing, visit one of the surrounding villages and take a stroll through the quaint village centre. Be sure to enjoy a bite to eat or a refreshing drink in one of the many Austrian restaurants.

A high alpine oasis of spectacular scenery

Hochkrimml sits at an altitude of 1,700 metres above sea level, making it the highest village in the Zillertal Arena. Lying almost directly on the Gerlos Pass on the border between Salzburg and Tyrol in the Zillertal Alps, with the winter sports area consisting of three areas: Filzsteinalm, Duxeralm and Silberleiten and belongs to the municipality of Krimml. You can reach this village by car or bus with ease, with plenty of conventional skiing and cross-country skiing potential thanks to the close proximity of the Gerlosplatte. From Hochkrimml, you can reach the Zillertal Arena directly via a red downhill run to Königsleiten. Enjoy endless hours of high alpine skiing in this pristine part of Austria. With four dozen apartments and chalets across three villages to choose from, you’ve plenty of choices when it comes to picking somewhere to stay!
