Description of Haus Marigold

This beautiful chalet is located in the centre of the enchanting Austrian village of Krimml. You'll find a host of useful amenities within walking distance, including a supermarket, a choice of restaurants and cafes, plus an ATM. This property is particularly suitable for large groups of travellers, with ample room to accommodate up to 16 people. The spacious living room has plenty of seating and boasts a roaring fireplace, while a fully equipped kitchen and modern dining space ensure you've everything you need to enjoy a real home away from home. Sleeping accommodation is divided across six bedrooms, three of which have their own en-suite bathrooms. On the ground floor, you'll find a wellness area with a Finnish sauna, shower and sun loungers that provide you with the perfect place to head to unwind after a long day. At the rear of the property, you can also enjoy access to a large balcony with an adjacent garden.

In winter you can stroll from this apartment to the nearby ski bus stop and, within 15 minutes, you'll be on some of the finest slopes in the vicinity of Hochkrimml. The vast ski area of the Zillertal Arena has plenty of blue, red and black slopes to suit skiers of all levels. Those looking for day-long ski adventures can head to Königsleiten in the direction of Gerlos to Zell am Ziller. Those after something a little different will love a ride on the illuminated toboggan run, while a horse-drawn sleigh ride to the Krimmler Waterfalls is another way to spend the day. In the evening, retreat to the comfort of your chalet or soak up some of that après-ski atmosphere instead.

In summer, enjoy the dawning day from the large terrace as you look forward to an exciting adventure in this breath-taking part of Austria. There are plenty of impressive hiking trails and bike routes to enjoy, with the Hohe Tauern bike trail a particularly rewarding one that takes you through majestic mountain landscapes and picturesque villages. Once you've completed the trail, head back home on the Pinzgauer Lokalbahn to save your energy and retreat to the terrace as you watch the sun go down with a glass of wine in hand.

A high alpine oasis of spectacular scenery

Hochkrimml sits at an altitude of 1,700 metres above sea level, making it the highest village in the Zillertal Arena. Lying almost directly on the Gerlos Pass on the border between Salzburg and Tyrol in the Zillertal Alps, with the winter sports area consisting of three individual municipalities: Filzsteinalm, Duxeralm and Silberleiten and belongs to the municipality of Krimml. You can reach this village by car or bus with ease, with plenty of conventional skiing and cross-country skiing potential thanks to the close proximity of the Gerlosplatte. From Hochkrimml, you can reach the Zillertal Arena directly via a red downhill run to Königsleiten. Enjoy endless hours of high alpine skiing in this pristine part of Austria.
