Can I request a brochure?

ChaletsPlus operates through the Internet. You will find an extensive overview on our website of the many accommodation options including the prices per week and you can also immediately make reservations online. For tailored advice please contact us.

Are snow tyres required during the winter months?

Cars (including foreign cars) must have winter equipment as from May 2006 when driven under winter conditions. In particular, snow tyres and sufficient screen washer liquid that are suitable for winter conditions are meant with winter equipment. Snow tyres are compulsory in Austria during the winter season. Where can I purchase the Motorway Vignettes?

The Motorway Vignette can be obtained in Austria from all motorway border crossings, at various Austrian petrol stations and petrol stations along the motorway in South Germany to name but a few locations. The Motorway Vignette for passenger cars and motorcycles can be obtained from the ANWB in the Netherlands.

If I fly to Innsbruck, how can I reach Königsleiten, Wald im Pinzgau, Hochkrimml, Neukirchen and Bramberg?

From Innsbruck you can take the train to Jennbach. From Jennbach you can take the bus or train to Zell am Ziller and from here you can take a taxi or bus to Königsleiten. You can also travel by car from the airport to Königsleiten, Hochkrimml or Wald im Pinzgau by taking a taxi from Innsbruck.

If I fly to Salzburg, how can I reach Saalbach, Dienten and Mauterndorf?

From Salzburg Airport you can reach Saalbach, Mauterndorf and Dienten by taxi or public transport.

Is the supermarket open on Sundays?

Supermarkets are often closed on Sundays in Austria. They are sometimes open in the morning or afternoon in the ski regions. Supermarket opening hours are announced at the entrance of the supermarket. We recommend taking part-baked rolls, etc., with you for the first day. You can also obtain more information about the supermarket opening hours from your local host at your destination.

Where can I order rolls and bread?

We offer Königsleiten, Hochkrimml, Wald im Pinzgau and Saalbach guests a Sandwich service in the winter and summer (July and August months) seasons. Your order of fresh bread will be delivered each day. You will find more information about this in the voucher and on the website (and at the chalets and apartments that are part of this scheme).

Is ChaletPlus reliable and is my money safe?

Yes, ChaletsPlus adheres to the SGR terms and condition and, furthermore, we are a member of the Thuiswinkel Organisatie. ChaletsPlus has been renting chalets in Austria for 25 years and is given an average score of 8.5 out of 10 by its customers.

Is there Internet in the chalet or apartment?

Not all accommodations have Internet. The availability of Internet will be specified at the accommodation description and through the icons at the chalet or apartment. The information for the Internet connection is provided in the the chalet or apartement.
ChaletsPlusand the owner takes no responsibility for the Internet connection. See the rental agreement with the lessor of the holiday home Article 8. These houses have an internet connection.

If the website discription states that there is a Nespresso machine, is there also a normal coffee machine in the accommodation?

All our accommodations have a filter or Senseo coffee machine. Nespresso cups are not for sale in Austrian supermarkets. If a Nespresso coffee machine is present in the homes you need to bring your own cups.

Where are the holiday chalets and apartments exactly?

ChaletsPlus rents holiday chalets and apartments in different villages: Dienten, Hochkrimml, Königsleiten, Mauterndorf/St. Michael, Neurkirchen/Bramberg, Saalbach Hinterglemm and Wald im Pinzgau.

Can I take my dog?

Pets are not allowed in most accommodation. In these chalets and apartments pets are allowed; you will, however, incur an additional cleaning charge.

I would like to rent a chalet or apartment for more or less than 8 days. Is this possible?

In principle, all chalets and apartments are rented from Saturday to Saturday unless stated otherwise. We, of course, will be more than happy to make a custom-made offer. Please contact us.

What is the procedure when I have booked online?

You will immediately receive an automatic reply through e-mail after booking through the Internet. Your request will be verified in our reservation system after which you will receive confirmation through e-mail followed by the reservation confirmation/invoice. How can I make a change for my booking afterwards?

You can make us aware of changes related to a booking via My ChaletsPlus. If you pass on changes during the 6 weeks preceding your arrival, we will have to charge you additional costs.

When will the voucher be sent?

You will receive the voucher and travel documents by e-mail no later than 10 days before departure after having made the payment for your holiday. If you have ordered ski passes, everything will be sent to you by regular post.

Can I book a wheelchair-friendly chalet at ChaletsPlus?

ChaletsPlus has a wide range of holiday homes in various holiday destinations in Austria. We know the area and all chalets are or have been visited and inspected by us. If you are looking for a wheelchair-friendly chalet, we would advise you to get in touch with us. We will then be able to provide you with ‘tailor-made’ advice.

What is the virtual tour (360° tour)?

You can view various chalets on our website by means of a virtual tour. You can identify the chalets that have a virtual tour through the 360-degree logo in the top left corner, under the main photo of the chalet. This tour will allow you to view the entire interior of the chalet. In order to be able to see the virtual tour on your computer, you will need the 'Shockwave media player'. You can find further explanation of the virtual tour here.

What is the meaning of PlusPeak Highly recommended on the homepage?

Here you will find an exclusive selection of holiday homes that the ChaletsPlus team has chosen for you. The selection will change each time the homepage is refreshed. These are luxury, cosy chalets currently available.

How can I download the Gastekarte?

If you have booked an accommodation with us in in Hochkrimml, Königsleiten, Wald im Pinzgau and Neukirchen you can download the guest card for this region by logging in via My ChaletsPlus.

Click above on My ChaletsPlus and login with your email address. Once you are logged in, click the menu ‘My reservations’ on your booking. Then you can find the document via useful documents.
